A native of Seoul, South Korea, cellist Sein Lee was a Kumho Prodigy and gave her debut recital at Kumho Arts Hall. She has appeared at Festival Owon, where she toured throughout France with Trio Owon, the Seoul Spring Festival, Casalmaggiore International Music Festival, Yellow Barn, Four Seasons Chamber Music Festival Winter Workshop, and frequently performs with the Asian Philharmonic. She has performed chamber music with distinguished artists such as Ida Kavafian, Donald Weilerstein, and Roger Tapping. Sein received her bachelor’s degree from Yonsei University in Seoul where she was a two-time winner of the concerto competition. She is currently a student at the Yale School of Music where she studies with Paul Watkins and Ole Akahoshi.
